Actually it wasn’t just a “baby Jackson project”, it was a “family of 7 project”. True challenge for me. I was really nervous prior to both sessions, it’s not easy for a photographer to try and control many young family members and get a perfect photo. But Phillips family is like a gang of best friends and they made it so easy for me. It wasn’t just a job, it was a great time spent with this family. Love to you all, Phillips gang!!!
Every single image from this project was simply magical. Carrying life is magical!!! I’m forever grateful to this beautiful family for choosing me to capture it and ever more so for letting me share it with the world!
"Let's go to Neverland and never come back till forever ends". This is how this christening made me feel. Something out of this world, and I didn't want to leave. I wanted to be a child again :) ! Special thank you to Amalia and her beautiful family for taking me on this fairytale trip! Christening of Sofoklis took place in the picturesque Minthis Hills. Magic started right at the gates of Stavros tis Minthis created by the talented Fresh Events. Turn right from the second star and straight on to see the rest of this Christening story ;)
Passion, style, attitude, burning love... this couple could've walked straight into Dolce & Gabbana's add. They got married that day, yes! But they were not the traditional bride and groom you would normally see :) . Tatiana creates wedding dresses for living so the last thing she wanted to wear was a white bridal gown.
And they were far romantic cuddly posing for photos, giving those killer looks yet couldn't keep their hands off each-other! There were flames all over the place! At some point I really felt like calling my husband :D! I loved it! Thank you for the heat Tatiana & Andrey !
Aleksandra wanted something soft, elegant and floral for her maternity session. So in the wake of spring we headed under the blooming almond trees. And for our second location we wanted the Cyprus mountains to be involved.
Aleksandra & Vova kindly asked me to wait with sharing the photos until the baby is born. So here I am, (so inpatient to show you this amazing session) welcoming you to this big world, little princess Adelina! :)
Marina is a happy person! And she radiates it in all directions. I got so much positive energy from this session. Marina took me to a beautiful location that perfectly reflected her personality. I now have a new favourite spot ;)!
Marina's daughter Masha was the coolest, most confident little girl, who absolutely loved the camera and the matching clothes with her beautiful mama.
It was absolutely amazing that Marina's mother was able to be part of this session. Such an important memory captured! It makes me so happy to think that perhaps 20 years on Marina's children will be looking at these photos and treasuring them forever :)
On her last stage of pregnancy she was still super excited and willing to go along with all my crazy visions (her husband will kill me when he sees these photos of her standing on the cliff! :D ) . But little Masha made sure her mama and her little brother were ok!
Tatyana contacted me several months ago to arrange a photo session but for many reasons we kept postponing it. Finally, right before they left Cyprus, we managed to find the time that suited us all. The shores of St.George area in Paphos were perfect for her beautiful family of five. The twins couldn't wait to run free. And we even managed to catch the last sun rays before sunset on the playground near Peyia.
I was driving up to Minthis Hills and found this amazing field of pink blooming almond trees with green grass and yellow flowers surrounding them. But the blooms were already falling so I had to find someone fast to do the photo shoot with, I couldn't loose this chance. I was so lucky to find gorgeous Simona who was available at such short notice and is also a Makeup artist. You can see our "makin-of" video here .
The whole session was like a smooth joyride. We both had the same vision of it, we could see it clearly. Feminine, soft, dreamy. We have more exciting projects coming up in cooperation with Simona so stay tuned :) !
Christmas is long gone but photos are timeless. Here's a small family session I haven't shared with you yet. Most of you have probably realized now that this little girl has been my most frequent model lately :) . Well I just can't get enough of her, how can somebody be so cute!
Today I want to share with you a story of a beautiful Christening which took place in Polis Chrysochous, Paphos. The parents of little Andriana chose a perfect church for this important event of their daughter's life. Agia Kyriaki is a traditional 18-th Century single nave church. You can almost smell the age and authenticity of it. And all the family and friends were there for Andriana's Christening.
After the touching ceremony, everyone followed the family to their home for the celebration. I'm pretty sure at that point everyone felt like they were in a wonderland. All the decorations in their garden were so well thought through and matching the theme. The food was delicious and everyone danced til late hours. Nakis & Valentina, thank you for this beautiful christening!
